Sentier has to be one of the best kept secrets in Sydney. I have been a client of Sandra Stone at Sentier since it opened six years ago, and before that at her previous boutique Splash.

Sentier is much more than just a clothing shop, as walking in the front door is like walking into a friend's place, with a warm atmosphere and staff who are always friendly and welcoming. However, all of this is just the introduction to a lovely array of clothes which are an excellent mixture of Australian and European labels, and it never ceases to amaze me how season after season Sandie manages to keep her selection of garments evolving so that I can continue to add pieces to my wardrobe in a way that allows mixing and matching to be an ongoing process.

Actually, I do know how Sandie achieves this. It is through sheer hard work on her part as she constantly seeks out new and interesting labels, which she then views personally and hand picks the pieces which make me want to return time after time and agonise over how much I want to buy verses what I actually need to buy. In addition to this, there are always the fashion parades to look forward to as Sandie brings in a couple of models to show the clothing at events which are always well attended and enjoyed, along with the edible delights that are offered.

I cannot complete this testimonial without further mention of the girls who work at Sentier with Sandie. They are, without a doubt, some of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet, and the attention that they pay to the clients is second to none. They never show any signs of indifference to anyone, but as a client indicates that she is only looking, the girls do not have the annoying habit of breathing down her neck and step in to help as required.

In a nutshell, Sentier provides me with all that I need in clothing and as long as that continues I will remain an enthusiastic client --- And long may that be!
